Whenever we can, we like to bring together local artists interested in community work to discuss their current projects and share ideas. We’ve hosted lots of different kinds of gatherings in venues around Frome: small dinners, online training, big public meetings. We always follow up these gatherings with individual meetings for anyone cooking up a project we think we can help with. We’ve supported artists with fundraising, refining their ideas, and connecting with community partners.

In Spring 2025 we collaborated with artists Cherry Truluck and Annalee Levin (and brilliant local organisation Edventure) on ‘Distillations’ - an evening built around climate-conscious cocktails and canapés as conversation starters. A few weeks later we hosted an Open Space day of discussions with Frome Town Council, gathering artists alongside community groups from across the town. We hope to keep experimenting with different ways to get together and amplify the work of local creatives.
