Summer 2025 in Frome

We’ve got a busy few weeks of events and adventures. We hope you can join us…

Midsummer Mischief

Saturday 21st June
10.00am - 2.30pm
Victoria Park, Frome

A free family gathering to celebrate the longest day of the year. Drop in anytime for crafts, outdoor play with our friends Super Roots, and to try out some Ukrainian folk dances.

Bring your own picnic, or grab something from the cafe in the park.

If you’d like to join our Midsummer parade (all welcome), we’ll be making costumes throughout the day and then will set off around the park at 2pm.

10 - 12: Drop-in crafts, costumes and forest play
12.00: Folk Dance workshop
13.00: Midsummer Storytelling
14.00: Parade around the park

‘How do we help creativity and community to thrive in Frome?’

Wednesday 25th June
9.30am - 1.30pm (includes free lunch)
Frome Town FC, Badgers Hill Stadium

This event is a big and important gathering for everyone who cares about making things happen in Frome. It’s an ‘Open Space’ meeting, which means we work together to set the agenda. And it’s open to everyone: artists, volunteers, organisers, charity workers, gardeners, poets, architects and more. In partnership with Frome Town Council.

St John’s Community Party

Saturday 12th July
2.00 - 4.30pm
St John’s Road Play Park

We’ve been working with schoolchildren, groups of neighbours and local businesses to create a series of arts adventures for St John’s. Come and join us for free performances, treasure hunts, games, music, drinks and snacks.
