Terrestrial produces arts projects, community events and wild adventures in the south west of England.

We are helping creative folk in Frome to develop ambitious ideas for community projects.

Adventures in Storytelling

We are currently working more than 200 children from 3 primary schools in Frome to create new, wild stories.

Terrestrial’s Director Tom Spencer is visiting classrooms throughout the summer term to dream up new imaginary worlds.

Weston-super-Mare

Terrestrial’s work began with a series of projects that brought together visiting artists and local community groups in Weston. This film follows the final weeks of those unique collaborations, and gives a good introduction to the way that we work.

Want to know more? You can explore each of these unique collaborations on our projects page.

Spy Kids Wanted

Are you ready for an undercover adventure?

Spy Kids Wanted is a free website full of challenges, quizzes and stories. Created by Nigel Barrett, Louise Mari & Amy Pitt - inspired by a collaboration with 500 children in Weston.

Designed for ages 7-12, but fun for anyone. Suitable for playing at home, online, or in classrooms.

Weston Artspace

Weston Artspace is a community artist studio that Terrestrial helped to set up on Weston-super-Mare’s High Street. For more than 5 years it has been a free place to meet, work, play, make a mess, make friends and develop ideas. Artspace now runs as an independent organisation, led by a brilliant and generous group of local artists.

For free studio space, events, networks and opportunities, please head to Weston Artspace’s website and social media pages.
